Consuming carbohydrates is important to ensuring the body has what it needs to operate at peak performance. Our meals include complex carbs such as nuts, seeds, legumes, brown rice, quinoa, oats, sweet potatoes, fruits and vegetables. Some examples of the reasons to consume complex carbohydrates are that they keep the body fueled for an extended period of time, digest better, lose weight and keep the heart healthy.
